so it sounds like I will have a lot of fun huh? I plan on taking it to a service shop and seeing if anything is an immediate need, plan on changing the oil and maybe the belts. don't have a ton of extra cash but whatever it needs to stay working til I can get more taken care of will be great.
any other potential issues I should look into?

anyone know and shops in the eugene/springfield area?

You wont have many problems if you stay on top of mantainence. Do everything on time and keep up with the basics. These things will run forever if you take care of them, yours has plenty of miles left on it. Also, you've come to trh right place for Disco help. For any question there is almost always someone on here that can help you fix it yourself. I have saved quite a bit of money by the advice on some of the guys on here.

Do you plan to off road any? You'll be amazed at what these trucks can do!
Welcome and enjoy the new rover.

First thing you should do is work your way through the 60k mile service. Do the work yourself so you can get familiar with the truck. If you cant work on these trucks yourself, you will pay a fortune keeping them alive.
