My first you-tube video
Thank you, you will. I plan on making more this summer.
No, you DO NOT want to touch that water. The storm drains and the sewer pipes all go to the same waste water treatment plant and when it rains over 3 in. the raw sewageoverflows into the river.
The middle of the river is very deep, the bottom is very mucky, lots of logs, rocks, dead bodies, cars, trks, boats, who knows what. Not to mention that there is no place to go on the other side.
Steep hill with trees, swamp and private property.
Whats really fun is the trails around the air gunnery range in Grayling in the upper-lower part of Michigan. (if you dont understand look at a map of MI, it will make sense)
17.5 miles around the gunnery range and it takes an hour and I've done it a dozen times.
Lots of sand, hills, ruts, water. Not to mention the blown up tanks, trks, airplanes and buildings that you get to see. And when they are practicing, it is REALLY cool.
Burnt trees, unexploded ordnance. Its the only place where I can shoot at planes and tanks with my rifle.
There areclose to100 miles of trail's in Grayling and I plan on driving them all. We've driven over 100 miles of the 1,000+ miles of trails last year here in MI.

Sounds like areas around here after it rains and I want to go surfing. Definitely a no go. That whole area sounds really fun, and it's in your back yard too boot. What kind of planes and tanks do they have out there? Keep posting those vids Spike!!
The air gunnery range is about 3 hours away, they have old fire trks, fighter planes, 2.5 ton trks, humvees, 5 tons, pill box's, cargo containers. You name it they shoot at it.
There is a observation spot where you can park and watch the A-10's fly in and fire there 20mm cannon. It's really cool. Blackhawk's, F-16's, I belive that it is the only gun range for 5 states, it's like a 10 min flight from WI. But we have a big military air field in Battle Creek.
I had pic's but cant find them.

Cool video. I love it when stock Land Rovers go in there and do what they have to modify the others to do. By the way, while you're posting videos, put one on that shows 'em doing target practice out there.
