my guages are dead... i need help

Default my guages are dead... i need help

while i was installing my new seats today, i went to turn the cars power on and i noticed that my warning lights on my dash are out (not good) and i have no readings on the guages (fuel, coolant temp)

i have no blown fuses!! and all my lamps work.

the front defrost and rear defrost do night light up when pressed?

any ideas

Did you check both fuse blocks, you have maybe 4 fuses that could have blown.

how do you check fuse block ( do you mean relays)


the clear boxed links in the engine compartment arent blown

omg... i thought i had this in the bag!!!!

anyone got any ideas what to check....


all the fuses in both blocks are good as are the fusable links, the cluster packs are good and in tight,

wqhat am i gonna do.... this is way beyond me and the truc doesnt even have an engine

windows and hazards work as do the wipers and headlights.... does this rule out BCM!!!!

i have verified i have power to c0233 pin 6 and c0230 pin 19 and 20

so theres the power for the IP cluster..

why no fuel guage, or odometer

how could i test the instrument cluster out of the car....

nevermind i touched the wiring harness for the shift indicator and it made the dash come back on... so i think i know where to look sucks though... i have 2 extra guage clusters with low miles sitting in my garage ... usless
