Horn dead - need help
I'm trying to figure out why my horn doesn't work.
I tested the two horns and one of them is dead, but the other horn works when supplied power directly from the battey, so I tried reading the electrical diagrams and testing stuff, but I want to make sure I'm doing it right.
The horn switch on the steering wheel has 12 volts, so I don't think its there.
I have power across fuse 16.
I have power up to the horn relay.
Here is where I get confused. I can't really tell which terminal is which as the relay has the pins labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and I was kind of hoping to see 30, 85, 86, 87, and 87a like in the wiring diagram.
Regardless of that, my real question is this. Shouldn't I be able to jumper the relay from the hot to pin 87 and get the horn to work?
Thanks,
John
