If you off road, I'de reconsider the electric fan.
If it gets water in the wrong spot, it's dead, and then so is the rest of the truck.
There are better than stock fans and fan clutches out there. I paid $60 for both new.

I'd take Ibuprofen over aspirin. Would hate to bleed out from the busted knuckles!

Water? Oh, yeah, occasionally it does rain here. Very good point actually, I need to evaluate waterproofing possibilities. If it saved Alex 1 mpg, the fan would pay for itself in 3-4 mos.

If you have the plastic engine splash guard, and don't go in mud or deep water, I wouldn't worry about it.
