Great list and I plan on using some items. Doing heads and pumps this month. My parts are on order and I'm just stockpiling the beer and patience.

Yep I have my 03-04 drip pan laying on the bench in my shop. To mount it to earlier 99-02 D2’s properly it’ll require two small brackets to support it. On 03-04 D2’s it’s riveted to the frame.

My 03 had screws as well from what I remember.

Let me be “crystal” clear here down to the color of the plastic inserts in the frame for the 8mm/phillips head mounting screws.... The rear brackets for the 03-04 drip pan is secured to the frame via rivets, then you attach the drip pan to the bracket via two 8mm/phillips head screws (one per rear side), then the front of the drip pan is attached with yellow inserts in the frame and several more 8mm/phillips head screws.The rear brackets are not meant to be removed hence the rivets from the factory. 99-02 D2’s do not normally have those brackets riveted to the frame. Sure you could slap it on via the front 8mm/phillips head screws with the yellow plastic tabs in the frame, but the back will not be secured without those brackets or something you make to support it.
