My Labor day was spent laboring over my Land Rover
My Labor Day was full of a list of todo's on the Land Rover, so i tackled them all at once.
I finally attacked my leaky sun roof issue, found that the 2 hoses on the front sunroof had snapped the plastic pieces off, I used an epoxy to reconnect them, and then put silicon over to just be sure. The hoses were completely cleared of debris before being attached, and once all back together, checked for leaks.
I also added the roof rack extensions which was easier to do than actually getting ahold of the extensions.
Since I had the headliner out, I also replaced the foam/fabric, that was probably the most difficult task Ive had for a while with this truck, but I'm glad to have no more saggy headliner and no more water stains, and its finally all clean.
I also replaced the lower light housings in the back bumper (backed into a parking meter & a light pole at the same time a few weeks ago and am lucky the only damage was a couple cracked lenses), and added light guards on all the rear lights.
Rotated the tires and made sure they are all still holding at 40 psi.
With all that stuff that I did, there were no issues, except for the clips that both windshield visors clip into, both of them broke off... is this an item that can easily be found?... I briefly looked on Atlantic British, but couldn't find them... anyone have any ideas where i can get new ones?
