I am new to Land Rover, and new to this forum. I purchased a '99 Discovery II last weekend and am thoroughly enjoying it, but I had a quick question. Sometimes when I put the vehicle in park and turn it off it makes a clunking noise when I take my foot off the brake. It only happens when I am on a slight incline. Any ideas? Before I bought it I brought to my mechanic that works on my Audi and he said it checks out real nice. Thanks!

I own a 99 D2 and have been a service manager for longer then I want to remember and have seen this before.
