It really just depends on what you want, what you want to use the truck for, and what capacity you are able or willing to work on the truck yourself.

Personally I would love to have two Discoveries. A. My current DII that has modifications but I tend to keep it clean and in good condition, and B. A 95-99 DI that I would mod the **** out of and the be the ***** to walls trail truck.

Which ever one you get you just want to find that has been at least moderately well kept, doesn't have rust and has been treated with some respect. Or you can DI's and DII's pretty cheap, ones with blown motors or issues/high miles with the understanding that it is a project vehicle.
