We r on the road now safely making it home. Thank goodness for good people on this forum. Glad to have met people who share the same love for land rovers . No worries, it's just what Rover owners do.

Let's be honest if Rover owners didn't help each other out, we wouldn't be on the forum we would all still be walking home from somewhere.

I think it was just Karma coming around a driveshaft delivered from a state away from a guy you don't know driving a discovery he was given by a guy he never met.
