It's not difficult. The gauge cluster is held in with 4 screws and 2 muliplugs. Just remove the plastic binnacle, which can easily break.
The ECU & BCU are in the passenger side footwell , also easy to remove & replace. 10mm socket & a flat head screwdriver should do it.

I think $250 is too high for the set. If you go that route, call Will Tillery, he can set you up with what you need at a more reasonable price.
