need help with compression test
Hello everyone,
I need to do tune up for P0305 coming all the time. HG were replaced recently and the car was driving well until it started to throw p0305 code on uphills on high rev. I looked under the hood at night and wires are flashing. Before replacing anything i want to make compression test. I will pull out fuel pump relay, remove plugs and wires, but what to do with the ignition? Connectors on coils are very deep back of the engine and i can't reach them. Is it necessary to turn off ignition for engine compression test and are there any other ways to turn off it except disconnecting the coils?

All I did for my compression test was unplug the wires and remove all the spark plugs then turn the engine over for a few seconds per cylinder and took the highest compression from each. My 3 and 5 cylinders were reading slightly above zero due to a blown head gasket.
