Need help with a leak
If they are 3/8” - 16 they go into a cylinder head. It’s the only place that that size of bolt is used during HG replacement.
The A/C Bracket has 3.25” 3/8”-16 and the Alternator Bracket uses 4” 3/8”-16. Somehow my A/c bracket bolts were 4” as well and butting up against the back of the bolt hole. How that became? I have no idea, I’ve always used the same bolts.

The Alternator Bracket has 4. Of course, you could have a different spec than I, could they be for the belt cover thingy? Mine is long gone.
I think however did this before mixed up some bolts. I think those two should be on the alternator, per the AB video. That would still leave me with two extra.
Maybe the ac compressor was replaced. It doesn't look like it fits the bracket. The two back bolts line up, but my two front screw into the locating dowels. It leaves 2 threaded holes up front. I can take a pic if this doesn't sound normal.
My freeze plug is a problem. Not the plug itself, but the sensor in front of it. I can't get the bolt off of the sensor. It is at an odd angle against the heat shield. I can't see how to take the heat shield off.
Still haven't started it.

Finally got the knock sensor bolt off. It took 3 extensions, a universal adaptor, and my big breaker bar.
Put some rtv on the plug I had and hammered it back in. We’ll see how it holds up. I had bought one of the rubber ones that expands when you tighten it, but got the wrong size.
Hopefully find time this week to wrap things up before the hurricane gets here.

The hurricane is over, and have almost cleaned everything up.
To do list:
1. Can’t find two top screws for the coil. Will the two bottom ones support it enough?
2. Put oil in the filter and install.
3. Fill with oil and water and pray for no leaks.
4. Tighten nut on tie rod. I tighten, but it keeps spinning. I took it off to drop my oil pan.
5. Hope it starts.
6. Drain water and replace with coolant.
7. Drive it around a little while waiting on new coolant hoses and thermostat.
