What do you think of this one I found near me? See images below:

It's from a range rover 1999, 4.6L no secondary air intake.

Any complications going from SAI to non-SAI?
On a 2000 it must one of those Cali LR transgender girls.

Really good idea, there are actually a large number of low mileage good running Disco's being scrapped in the rust belt due to rusted frames not passing inspections. They basically have no value as an intact truck.

they are being scrapped everywhere for a ton of reasons. its sad, but highly advantageous for us guys with tight budgets and good diag skills lol.

the p38's are even worse. I guess the extra electrical components scare the hell out of people, they are even easier to find for $1000 or less than the discos.

What do you guys think of this:

They will ship it to me for $200 dollars and I asked him for details and he replied "It is a Longblock- Heads, Valve Covers, Timing Cover, Oil Pan & Block. Everything else you would need to transfer."

Will this be a direct matchup with my current 2000 Disco II w/ SAI. This engine also has the SAI.

Thanks!

I found an '02 P38 4.6 fully rebuilt with new rings, bearings, cam, seals, gaskets, rods, lifters, a complete head gasket kit, etc all for $1000. You should be able to find a better price.

This one is off of an 04'. Do the P38 have a direct swap in with the Disco II 2000? I want to make sure I will meet all the damned california engine swap requirements...

But I am sure I can find a P38 for cheaper than the gilded 04' disco.
