They might rub on the radius arms at full lock. You can also change your turn stop to avoid this. It's minor and the 265/75/16s I ran never showed any wear on the inside side of the tire.
I've run two sets of the Fallen AT3Ws and I can't sing their praises enough. The first set i currently have 65k miles on and they've got another 10 to 15k in them on my Silverado, and I treat them rough. No burnouts on dry asphalt, but I let em eat on any other terrain. Gravel, wet asphalt, dirt, mud, etc.
The other set started life ony disco before the motor went out and now they're on my daily driver '86 Dodge. They've only got 15-18k miles on them and you can hardly tell they've been driven on.
I ran 285/75r16s (33x11.50s) on my Disco with 3" lift, stock brake lines, stock arms, stock driveshafts, no sway bars. I never had a problem. No rubbing or anything. If they were any larger in either dimension they would have rubbed, but they were perfect.
I had/have rubbing on fenders with the 285s but the offset of the steel wheels is different from stock so when articulating I was making contact front and rear vs stuffing them (which stock alloys would have done). I had 265s on the stock 16" alloys and I did rub at full lock on the radius arms. 33/35 can be done on a stock drive line but I'd be wary of the skinny pedal off-roading, not a lot of room for error if something hooks suddenly odds are high something will pop. Maybe not the first time but sooner or later. I would look into castor corrected radius arms as well. The ones from RTE are next up on my purchase list.
255/55/19: stock size for range rover III. works fine for DII
255/70/16: a little taller than stock.
245/75/16: a little taller than stock. tire manufacturers recommended these be fitted with 7" wheels, but 8" works fine.
32"
275/70/16: possible to fit without lift. minor rubbing.
265/75/16: possible to fit without lift. minor rubbing.
285/60/18: 32" tire for the 18" rim. costs much more than 16".
33"
285/75/16: even taller than 265/75-16, requires around 3" of lift. Very wide and requires trimming. consider upgrading to hd axles & getting lower gears.
255/85/16: a bit taller than 285/75-15 but narrower. consider upgrading to hd axles & getting lower gears.
Since someone stole my **** just a week ago... now I really need tires and wheels. I dont know if I want to buy the same wheels since I haven't seen anything that I like.
I'm going to try 33's and see how that feels. Just hoping I don't start breaking stuff. I currently run ARB bumpers so I dont think there will be any rubbing.
K02s run slightly smaller so probably a good option for the 285 size. I'm really not wild on the patagonias but they are cheap, I'll give them that. I think I'd give the Falkens a try if it were me, I'm not wild on the K02s (had some sidewall failures).
