Need parts in PA
The intake being shifted .002 would be hard to see. Here is the alignment I'm fighting. You have to push down firmly in the middle. I have been told that if the heads are in place, but not torqued, the index pins for them allow some wiggle room to improve things.

I did all that...valley pan, end gaskets...
They came in the kit.
My head bolt kit was missing two bolts.
My valley pan looked similar to yours, but it was a closer fit.
If you like RTV, learn what is the proper RTV to use.
Some people use the wrong type.
Always use "the right stuff" if you can find it. It contains a formula made from "oxine" if I remember correctly.
There are some sealers sold in the Auto stores that are NOT rated for engines and are not resistant to oil. If you want I can elaborate...its a long post, interesting story...but I learned something from it.

You can try British Bone yard in Lancaster. I needed parts in the middle of changing my head gasket and didn't want to wait.
