I have a 2000 Landrover Discover II SD. I have more than the 3 amigos lite. The biggest problem and the one I need to address right now is that my air suspension is not working probably. It goes down all the time. I start driving with the rear up and it will be down with in 10 mins. Also I notice that the rear passenger side doesnt go as low as the driver rear side, but either way they are almost down so low as to almost be touching the rear tires. The next issue is that whenever I get out of the car I smell burning.

I have had the care for a little over 2 years. No major problems. This past spring I had to replace all 4 oxygen sensors for $700 and change. I am looking for a good, honest mechanic who will not take advantage of me as a female who knows nothing about cars and is struggling with 2 jobs to make ends meet. How much do you think it would cost to fix or do you think I shouldn't bother and sell the vehicle as is?

If you can advise of a mechanic in the NYC (queens/brooklyn area), I would appreciate. Thank you in advance for all your help. BTW, the vehicle has approx. 116,000 miles on it.

If you can get your truck to the Bronx, I highly recommend British Auto Works on Stillwell just off Pelham Parkway. The guys are factory trained Land Rover techs. Carlos and Fernando have forgotten more than most techs will every learn. They are about the best in the NYC area. I think their number is 347-219-2588
