Take a picture of the wires colors where they are cut from the crank sensor.
Use your diagram.

And match the pin numbers and the wire colors to verify the wires

Take a picture of the ECU in your truck with the wires showing.
Print out the jpg on your color printer.
Then make notes on the picture of what you will do.

I would not mess with the ecu or plug.
I would solder a plug on that you get from a truck in the junk yard.
Solder on each wire matching colors.
Put on heat shrink tubing and done.

I just finished today! I'm going to make note of exactly what I did in my service manual in case the harness ever needs to be modified again. I'm just glad my truck is running again.

Default I'm in the same position as you were.

im looking at harness with clip facing me. First slot empty. Second had red wire. Third has black wire. I have a black wire hanging and I think that would be in the first slot??? I'm thinking when I pulled to separate clip I yanked it out. What order did you have. Thank you

Try cleaning the wires, black/yellow, pink/black and black. Good luck.

I need some help also. I was changing out the CKP sensor and "pulled" a little to hard. Alright I got frustrated that my hand kept slipping and I to a hold of that sucker and pulled the connector right off the wiring harness. Can anyone send me the part number for the connector? Or a OEM rated replacement? Thanks.

I'm not sure of the part number, but I *think* I still have an extra. Let me check around and I can mail it to you if I can find it.

Default Thanks Alex_M

I appreciate that. This forum has helped me out more than I can say. Your thread and wiring diagrams helped me with locating the wiring. Thank you.

I looked around a little this evening and couldn't find it, but I have somewhere else to look tomorrow. I'll update again after I've checked again.

Sorry brother. Just looked through my garage and through the old wiring harness from my parts truck. No luck finding it. I know I have one somewhere, but chances of it being found are nil.
