Default New 2004 Disco SE on the way...

Well, I'm trading up from myFreelander to a 2004 Disco SE (6,000 miles on it--was a demo vehicle). It's a Gold SE with tan interior (with those nice black accents). Can't wait. Should be arriving in a couple of day.

Anyway, I inquired at the dealer about a spare tire cover. When I got the Freelander I got a nice T-Rex spare tire cover. I've only seen a handful in the 3 years (or so) I've had the Freelander. I like it and it's somewhat rare (around here anyway). However, as I'm sure you know, that tire cover won't fit the Disco spare tire because the tire is larger. So I asked the sales rep about getting another cover. He's not very hopeful of finding a nice animal car cover due to the fact that, other than the Freelander (which, I understand, is discontinued anyway), none of the other Rovers have spare tires on the back any longer. So they don't stock them anymore but may have something around somewhere.

So I checked eBay and, surprisingly enough, there doesn't seem to be too many covers available (today anyway). I googled, "Land Rover Discovery spare tire cover," and found a lot of Rover parts stores but I'm not having much luck in finding spare tire covers.

Anyone know where I might be able to find a decent selection of Rover spare tire covers?

Thanks.

Try www.roverparts.com

On a funny side note: I was also looking for spare tire covers on eBay recently and found one that said "Hummer Recovery Vehicle".

Hi everyone,
I have 30,000 miles on a 2004 discovery and was hoping I could get some recommendations for brake pads and tires . Most 90% of the driving is on the poor roads of detroit
