Default New actuator, trouble opening door.

I recently replaced the tail door actuator in my '04 Disco II with a new unit from Atlantic British. All cables and linkages are hooked up correctly and the key fob and central locking work correctly. However if the door has been shut for a day or so, when I go to open it when I pull the handle I feel it actuate the mechanism but the door will still be latched. If I do it a couple times or put some pressure inward on the door it will open. After it opens I can close and open the door a dozen or so times normally with no issue. After it sits for a while the problem will repeat. I have greased the mechanism and made sure the door is in alignment. Does anyone have an idea why I am experiencing this problem and what I might do to remedy it?

Regards,
Mike

Sounds like you need to align and possibly lube any parts that may be rubbing.
