Default Cargo door not opening from outside

Before anyone suggests it, Yes, I popped the emblem off and sprayed the hell out of it for several days without any changed.
I popped the panel off on the interior and was able to get the door open and there is a metal linkage or spring broken and/or missing from the outside door handle assembly on the inside of the door.
The handle has functioned without issue since I got it up until a couple weeks ago. Then it felt like nothing was happening when you tried opening it from the outside handle and apparently the child-resistant lock was also enabled, making it tricky to open from the inside without pulling the panel.

Does anyone have a photo or diagram showing how it "should" look?

Thanks!! Any info is much appreciated!!
It's a 97 Disco I with power locks (which work fine)

I'd think you'd be able to get a used handle pretty cheaply.

A new one isn't about about $50

Door Handle - Outer - Rear Cargo Door (Genuine Part # CXB102190 ) - Land Rover door catches\window regulators from Atlantic British

According to their website it's in stock here:

Thanks for the links and info.
The outside door handle itself appears to be functional.
I don't think it needs replacing.
The part that is missing/broken attaches to the tab on the inside of the (outside) door handle and releases the latch allowing the door to open.
It may be as simple as a spring or threaded rod.

I don't know what it was supposed to be because nothing is currently attached to it.

Rave has a decent exploded view of this assembly, helped me muddle through my rear latch issues
