Default New ball joints installed, hub is super tight???

I just installed new upper and lower ball joints and the hub is hard to move back and fourth. Im guessing it should move freely for steering or should it be tight? The old lower ball joint was real loose but the upper seemed okay minus the hashed seal.

So do you mean the turning is tight? It's supposed to be at first. It will loosen up relatively quickly over time.

Yeah, the steering knuckle is super tight to the point I have to stress to move it by hand (before I install the wheels and all).
