I recently replaced my plugs and wires (used 8mm and bosh +4 wires and plugs) 4 new o2 sensors and cleared my codes. lasted about a week and now i have a new code. P1138 Any ideas of the cause of that code?

another O2 code. running rich now. how many miles did you drive? when was the last time you changed your o2 sensors?

 

Who did you get the 02's from? I would contact them and tell them you now have a rich code for both banks, code "A and D", they should replace them for you.

 

Plugs wires and o2's were all done friday last week. drove about 150 miles.

 

im with mike. the o2's you installed were faulty.

 

so does that mean all 4 are bad or just one. how do i determine with one is bad?

 

Ok so I may have fixed the problem. I was out mudding this afternoon and so i was washing the under body and there it was one o2 wire unpluged so cleaned and dried it out pluged it in and checked the rest, all others ok. so i reset the CEL I will see what happens. Thanks to all.
