Default NEW Cylinder Heads but it won't start

ust put new cylinder heads on my 2000 Discovery.. Ready to get it back on the road but the alarm is going off and won't let me start.
It is cranking but not starting.

It sat for a month and I had to replace battery. I tried the key fob several times as well as opening/locking unlocking from the drivers side door.

Is there any type of reset switch on this thing to get the alarm to turn off so it can start?

any ideas out there?

thanks in advance.

Why did you replace both heads???
Try resetting the locks slowly 3 times, see if that works.
Do you have a check engine light on?

Default ++FIXED! NEW Cylinder Heads but it won't start

There is a fuel shut off switch that looks like a brake cylinder mounted at the back of the engine on the chassis. In case of a wreck or major engine stress it cuts off fuel so the truck won't catch fire and explode.

I looked it up in the user manual of all places. Just reset it like a GCFI outlet and it started right up. Still running rough but will work thru that this weekend.

Thanks to all who read my post.

But that won't have any effect on the alarm.
I am still thinking on this one.
