Yes, but it will require some modification of the D1 shifter to work correctly. A search of the forums will turn up a lot of information for you.

You can use the D1. It is plug and play so long as you take everything involved with the shifter. You will need the shifter, boots, console cover, linkages, nuts/bolts, grab everything or you will have problems. Most important for a seamless swap is the cover and lever for HI/LOW. I tried to find a picture but no luck. Because of the linkage from the D1 shifter to the Hi-Low lever, you will need that lever as the D2 lever doesn't reach over as far. If you do a few searches you will come across what I'm trying to explain.
