Yes. In reality on a 1310 in a Land Rover it probably doesn't matter, but that's the sort of attention to detail (or lack thereof) I look for when buying something. More important to me than spelling, though spelling is a sign also. Spell check isn't that difficult.

The GKN & moog ball should not cause you any problems. But more than likely you will need to get it re-balanced after a true rebuild.
Thanks for the heads up.

Silver used "a" instead of "an" before a word starting with a vowel in an earlier post. He must know nothing about drive shafts!

Got the driveshaft (a while ago...3 days after ordering) and installed yesterday. Came pre-greased, heavy duty (compared to stock), and with all 4 zerks on the same side! Aside from the paint job locking up the center sleeve (would not extend...1 generous tap on the ground solved), it installed w/no surprises. Drove to 75 mph...smooth as Garry Coleman's chin!

Any ideas on what to do with the old one?

- 1 legged barstool (will take 2 more donations from St Louis area)
- Mount mirror on 1 end for flexible bathroom tool
- 2001-2012 tax return paper weight
- Strengthen your swinging arm during baseball practice

Hey Silver I have not forgot about your PM... I just have not had time to contact you with the Holidays. Plus, I really do not know what Drive Shaft I have! I don't know if it has ever been changed, and if not (I really do not know what to look for to determine if it needs changed). I will be in touch very soon!

Look at the U-joints. Are they all greasable? If not, it doesn't matter if it's a stock driveshaft or not, it needs to be replaced.

While on this subject; does anyone know the size and specs of the bolts and nuts for the prop shafts? Thanks!
