Hello,

I have been reading this forum, but just registered today. Love it!
I saw someonetouched on seat heaters for the 2000 Discovery II. What is the test light they were referring to for checking the fuses andwhat else could cause my seat heater not to work, other than the fuse? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The best way to describe a test light is this-it looks like a screw driver but the tip is pointed like a center punch, in the handle is a light bulb and sticking out of the top of the handle is a wire with a alligator clip.
You take the clip and attach it to a ground and stick the pointed end into the socket that you need to check, if it is good the light will light up, if not, well it wont.
You can get one at almost any store with a hardware dept, pretty cheap too.

On new fuses you can take the test light and check the fuses with out pulling them, on top of the fuses there is a contact point for each side with out pulling the fuse check one side get the light on check the other side no light thats the bad fuse.
