Default New Good Looking Oil Pressure Gauge!

I just got done installing it and testing it out. It goes well with the interior and I love the color. Its a Evo Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge. It came with an angled bezel piece so I decided to dash mount it rather than the a-pillar. My wife almost freaked when I drilled the hole in the dash, lol! By the way, very easy to get to that space to mount it when you remove the vent. The price wasn't too bad, $80.00 with the bezel and the sender. Anyway, thought I would share.

Good question, lol. I will have to get back to you, still tired from installing. I know Idle hot is 15-18. Idle cold at start up is 52-55. I will get you the 2500 rpm numbers tomorrow. What ranges am I looking for that I know the oil pump is O.K.?

Thanks,

Mike

Here is where I purchased the gauge:

Prosport EVO Series Green and White digital gauges

The sending unit is electrical type. I tapped into the oil port above the oil filter using an adapter, same as the guys using the GlowShift gauges.

Running PSI at rpm should be pretty close to what you saw cold. The pump is putting out max, and oil is thick, so filter is bypassed. Spec for a D2 is 50 PSI

Sounds very cool, I'm always disappointed by the lack a gauges that they install into vehicles.

The oil filter sandwich adapter size is- (3/4 UNF-16)
I used the 7 color tinted gauge from glowshift and really like it.
