Default New Guy "FNG"

Hey all, new here plans are on the rise for my disco 2. I got the car for free and since then, I have done all repairs myself. I rebuilt entire engine from ground up. I recently finished rebuilding entire front end (minus lift), rebuilt brakes, all fluids, 3 amigos (abs light still on???) but the other two are gone. I custom built a roof rack out of swimming pool frame tubing.(tubing is surprisingly strong) and looks good. Hi lift jack, polaski axe, shovel, fuel cans, and lots of extras. I am putting the lift on in December. It is a 3in toddco lift. Terrafirma shocks already on and all other hardware is in place. Here are some pics.

Welcome! Looks like that pic was taken this morning after our first snow this winter If you need help reading that ABS code let me know, I have a hawkeye and would be glad to help you out. Unfortunately my wife and are moving to Seattle next month and we actually drove it up there last week and then left it there and flew back, so I am roverless for the next couple weeks :/

I live in Placerville, just over the hill, so if you don't get it sorted out, I can also help to read the codes with my CDP+ reader.

thanks for the help. I do have a reader. I turned the car on to check the 3 amigos, to see if they went off after the rebuild but the abs is still on. Soooo I said screw it and got pissed off and turned it off and went inside. I will check it this week.

After a certain number of errors, the ABS light will stay on until you reset it with an ABS Amigo/Hawkeye. Mine stayed on after I fixed it til I cleared the ABS codes.

That said, you may very well have a dirty/bad ABS sensor that is kicking the light on. You need to pull the ABS codes and see what's happening.

I just put brand new wheel hubs on that came with new abs sensors. May have to put the old one back in.
