Hello all-
New member here. I don't own a Disco2 - yet - but joined up tp get info. In my head, I'm looking to build a tig for overlanding/hunting, and daily driver use in the winter. Looking to gather whatever info I can before I start. Measure twice, cut once!
Can somebody tell me if the second row seats fold flat with the cargo floor, or if they stick up? Thanks

The second row seats fold up against the passenger and driver seat so you lose the footwells and some space. It is not difficult to take them out - they are heavy - but it is 8 bolts. Just put the bolts back in they go right through. I pull my passenger side one every year in about April and it stay out until late Oct.

Or you do what I did and take out the large seat and leave the small one on the left - I pretty much never need to haul 3 or more passengers so this works well for me.
I'm 6'3" - with the passenger seat moved forward, I have plenty of room to sleep inside as well, which was one of the points of this for me.
The farthest forward section of floor in this pic is separate and can be removed easily leaving the rest in place and passenger seat moved back to normal.

Lot's of good "what to look for threads". Key thing to know, good design, sorta bad manufacturing execution means lots of things to fix none of them huge. I recommend driving one, and several alternative rides (CJ, Grand Cherokee, Blazer, 4runner, pathfinder, etc) so you understand why you are buying it. It's the driving experience that makes it worth the numerous small issues.
