I’ve only used TTY’s and I’ve only done 2 HG jobs on my LR’s. I would have expected that TTY’s would be more prone to pulling threads though, with the huge torque that’s used compared to ARP’s.
New OME medium duty springs and Bilsteins all around. New shock towers and isolators too.
I had the steering box rebuilt by Straight Line Steering in San Jose. Cleaned out the PS reservoir and got new PS lines. New steering and drag links. Also replaced the panhard rod and Watts linkage bushings.
Also have a spare set of radius arms at a local shop getting re-bushed.
Oh, and lots of cleaning and "rattlecan restoration"...

It’s very pretty. You should polish that upper manifold! I mean if you like torture like myself 🤣
I recommend vapor blasting to make it easier. Leaves a nice satin finish. Just got to make sure that the runners aren't gunked up, otherwise the media used embeds itself into the sludge and now you have to take the time to scrub it all out.
