'can go anywhere' may be a bit of a overstatement. From what I call tell so far my disco is not very capable in 4 HI but seems MUCH more capable in 4 LO. (I do not have a CDL lever yet, I know this will help when I get one) To truely go anywhere you need a Jeep.

Welcome! I actually looked at that truck the day before you bought it. It was at a dealership off of Market Street right?

Hey eastern NC Discos, If anyone is looking for a greendisco there is one on HWY 11 twards K-ville on the right before 903 sitting by a veggie standit has a brushguard on it, it is a PVT seller and it has been there for a long time.

haha well obviously you can go anywhere in a jeep with mods like that! But when it comes down to pure stock the LR is just as good or better depending on the task. And in a LR you are actaully comfortable! But seriously jeeps are amazing vehicles, they would be my second choice if all LR's suddenly didnt exist.

He wanted $6,000 for it when I looked at it ...I think that's part of the reason it has been there so long.

I had a new exhaust put on last week, there was nothing wrong with the stock muffler but the resonator was rusted out so I had an aftermarket muffler put on and replaced the resonator with a stainless tip. Now it sort of sounds like an older stock 302 Mustang.
