hello, I'm brand new to this, and def not very handy! Anyway I took apart shift **** and center console to fix a problem with my solenoid-- if thats what its called) lol.. Problem fixed car can shift out of park now, anyways was excited to get it all back together and put everything back, plugged all wires and switches back in, however last thing left if the shift ****!! However i'm having a hard time putting the e-clip back on. Can any one out there help a new member?? I'm sure im trying it wrong but i actually forgot how it went on.. I placed **** back on and screw on inside bottom, I placed shift button thru the side hole and rested the little piece with curved bottom and flat top in the shift botton groove, and then i remember the e-clip lays on top and clips to that piece however the e-clip has a smaller hole and larger one for the shifter to go thru and i cant seem to line it up.. any easy suggestions how to put this little clip back on before it breaks? thanks again!!!!
