Default New Member....Some minor problems

Hello all,
New member here. I've had my Disco for a couple of months now. 2003 w/ 62k/SE7. Absolutley love it! I have always wanted one! Just had the 60K service done, mech said everything looked good (changed serpintine belt, plugs, wires, the works). Had some water on carpet(pasenger side), so i cleaned out plugs(got wet). Had a drip out of headliner when I went threw car wash so I tried to clean out sunroof drain holes(used 60psi) hope i didnt disconect the tubes. So I ran my car threw the car wash today, same problems(wet card board/not floor as much, on passenger side. Dripping h2o from headliner driver side). Im not the most mechanicaly inclined person but Ive read many post here and researched as much as possible. I greatly apprciate everyones help in advance, and am very glad to be here!

Sounds like you have dropped a drain tube which will require someone to do a partial headliner drop to get to, inspect and reattach.

Thank you for your reply. Is this difficult/something I should attempt? Or better off taking to the shop? I see your from CO.I climb there a bit. Went up the Lake Como road to Blanca Peak this past June.

I finally figured out my sunroof leak issue. It's a fun one. Look at the drip tray where the blinds attach.... if there's a lot of water it can overwhelm the drain tubes and come out there as well. The fix is to get some silicone and seal them up and this makes the tray effectively twice as deep. I'll be posting a separate post detailing my specific problem, it was the result of idiots as well as a design issue (which I just mentioned).

I would try and find a small Rover shop, let someone who has done it before so your headliner doesn't get damaged.
Well, you have been in Colorado before, sounds like it is time to bring your truck and come hit the trails.
