I just bought this green '96 with a five speed transmission. How rare are the 5-speeds? What years were they sold in the U.S.? Are they more desirable or worth more than an equivalent automatic model? What was the last year of this bodystyle? Thanks.

 

99 was the last year of the D1 model. Yes the 5 speed is rare for those who like them it is very desirable and you may get a little more for it over an automatic. They were sold on a limited basis from 95 into early 97/
