Default Update

I was fairly sure it was the ac. Noise changed when i turned it on, although could not correlate with disconnecting the plug.
So i sprayed the alternator pulley with grease and it momentarily silenced it. I think that pulley is my culpurate. I pulled the belt off again and there is no play anywhere.
Does anyone know the bearing size of the pulley? I am going to have autozone load test the alternator and assuming it performs fine just replace the bearing. Unless people have other suggestions.

Thanks again.

How would you check it? Just buy a new one? I have been getting the p1415 lately.

if you hit the econ button it will disable the ac clutch and make it an idler. that way you can decide if the noise is the pulley or internal to the compressor

X1 ............... yep, it effectively disengages the A/C clutch. The pulley runs on separate bearings to the compressor.

Default Fuel Purge Valve

Well it sounds like the purge valve is not your problem but if that little things was the ticking culprit you'd know it by putting your hand around it and hearing a muffled ticking sounds and you'd also feel the pulse of the ticking.
