Default New tires, how much lift do I need?

Just got off stock tires (255/55/18) and onto larger tires (265/70/18).

How much lift do I need on my 2004 D2? Is 2 inches enough?

I put 275/65/18 with 2" and they clear. By a hair it rubbed pass side when I turned left for few days but not now. Now need some sliders with stepsides.

Those tires will be a perfect fit. I ran 265/65r18s for a couple months at stock height with no rubbing before I lifted.
