Default New Video! - Snow/Ice Driving with D2, RRC, & 4Runner

My friends and I started a YouTube show called No Service 4WD. The premise is simple - just go out in nature and get as far away as possible from the internet and screens. Enjoy nature, friends, and your vehicles as much as possible. Then come back to the screens and watch it on YouTube.

Anyway, here is our first episode, any/all feedback is appreciated.

Haha, the Doug intro! Great video. Nice trucks all around. Glad you opted out of any loud music of any kind. First way to kill a good YouTube video is with annoying loud music. Better spray paint the shovel head black for, well you know, tacticool and all. Kidding don't. A ****** block is good to have when you're winching a lot. Glad to see folks get out and enjoy off-roading. Post some new one's up when you can!

If you have a major break down that far in how in the world would you get out. That’s always my fear

Great video. Safe to say your Disco doesn't have a CDL? It looks like that might have helped with the traction issues. Otherwise it looked like a lot of fun and the old CL girl looked (and sounded) impressive in the mire. I think I recognize you from MyE28? Funny we both ended up with black CL Discos this year.

Haha good ear! How's that for some quirks & features? So far we haven't needed to winch yet, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. We'll definitely upload more and post updates here!

Hey so far we haven't had any issues with the Rovers! We also carry a full supply of tools, supplies, and fluids in case anything happens. We're pretty mechanically inclined and would almost welcome a challenge like that. Almost.

Hey! I recognize the username haha. Mine does have a CDL (linkage retrofitted from a D1) but I hardly use it. Traction control seems to do a great job, and the CDL only really helps when traction is solid such as rockcrawling and you just need to force power to the other wheels.
