NEWB urgent question: water leak in my disco II "baby carriage"
I hate it when people do what I am doing, but I've been reading these forums for some time. Long enough to know that Discomike is the guru.
Anyways, I had the valve cover gaskets replaced at a mechanic and while driving home I noticed steam coming from under the hood. I popped the hood and saw water leaking from the part in the included photo. Just wondering what it is and if I can fix it on my own.
It's sort of urgent as my wife is near her due date for our first child and I want to transport her to the hospital in the disco when the time comes. Thanks to anybody who helps.

That is the valve that controls secondary air injection when the engine is cold and when warming up. You have a leak at between the two flanges. So its basically an exhaust leak, under the hood. I think you could repair this easily if you took the valve off, and ran it to an autoparts store and had the flange matched up to something they have. Possibly a gasket from a common car with an EGR system.
