Default News from Dealership

I got a few doodads from Land Rover dealership . Also , I wanted to know if they carried the stock "Proximity " alarm sensor for a 2002 Discovery . Just because . Well , it turns out they do . Cost is $212 from England . But , it won't work on my SD model . It seems that they created a wiring harness particular for each model . I.E .......SD SE SE7 ...etc . So the good news of this is that you can order a new wiring harness from Land Rover in England , as they still have the wiring loom board to make new . I'll settle for an aftermarket .

wow a lot of that seems hard to believe - regarding JLR having anything for an old Disco and that LR engineered something different for different trim models

Yeah . So if I wanted to upgrade from my SD , I would need new wiring all around . Goodbye heated side mirrors , or anything else .

You could just run a set set of wires from the sensor to the BCU, and enable the sensor using the nanocom.
