What’s the worst case scenario for a failed smog with Evap system - all other systems passed. I’m not sure if it’s worth my time picking up a d2 hoping to fix before smogging. Is this something that can be taken care of at home? There was no purge valve related code or a big/small leak code. Looks like diagnosing via smoke test could get expensive at a shop.

 

How did it fail, as in what was the nature of the failure. If any emissions components fail they toss codes constantly.
