Default P0440 Code

Hey guys,
I've read a whole bunch of other posts on this topic (P0440 CEL code) and all point to the purge valve, which I replaced with the Hyundai part and replaced the gas cap and I'm still throwing that code after it completes a drive cycle. Does anyone have other ideas for common leak spots before I try to bribe a friend into doing a smoke test? The truck otherwise runs perfect.

Have you verified the gas cap is completely sealing before it clicks??? If the threads are jacked up it will cause the cap to click and you think it's closed when in reality the darn thing is 1/8 from sealing...... P0441 is usually the Purge Control Valve.

Default Before replacing the purge valve...

Before replacing the purge valve try this... Clear your codes and disconnect the purge valve electrical connector and drive it a few times to duplicate the fault. It you throw a Drive Cycle D error you can rule out the purge valve.
