Default NO interior lights.

03 Disco SE7. Front, rear and load lamps will not come on. Passanger comartment fuse 20 is good. Bulbs are good. Ignition switch light functional. When front lamp is in on position occasionally a very faint glow of the filament can be seen only when the lamp cover is off. Glove box lamp is good but will not illuminate either. This is my first post and I could really use some feedback. Thanks for any help.

Spike555,

Yeah the front light will only faintly glow when it is in the on position. It will not come on if in the "door" position with a door open.

Have you tried replacing the bulb?

Spike555,

Changed the bulbs and rotated bulbs between the interior lamps and glove box. Front lamp, regardless of which bulb, was the only one that would have the faint glow. Also, noticed that some of the switches on the ac/heat controls don't illuminate. The disco has dual zone heating/cooling. The temperature regulation switch for the driver has been out while the passenger switch still illuminates. None of the other switches on the module illuminate whether ac/heat is on or off. When it is on the backlight for temperature reading etc. does illuminate. I appreciate your help.

That is very weird. I have had dim interior lights on a different car before, repalced the bulb and all was fine.
I am at a loss for your problem though, sorry.
