Default No more CEL, ITS GONE!!!

So, after about of month or so of going back and forth, I finally got it done. I scanned my codes and basically what it boiled down to was this. My MAF was bad and my front O2 sensors. Me being me, I have the money to get a new MAF, but i wanted to try and fix it first. I went to Auto Zone and got a can of MAF cleaner and put it to work. After doing that, I ordered 2 new Bosch plug n play o2's for the front. Last night after work, i was extremely bored so I decided it was a great time to spend some time with my second wife, the rover... lol!

I changed out the O2's, cleaned the TB, cleaned the IAC valve and there you have it, the rough idle is completely gone, the CEL it gone as well. I never knew how smooth the engine ran for it has never run this smooth since i bought it.

Just wanted to give out an update. Take it easy and have a great weekend. One more thing, if you are in to boxing, tonight is going to be an incredible match up, super incredible...

Regards,

Those Bosch MAF's don't clean well and it will come back, then you get to do it the right way and replace it.
Make sure, when it does come back that you only a new in the box Rover MAF cause most of the after market and clone MAF's don't work and will throw codes right out of the box.

Shane,

How could you stand to part with a Porsche 944????? I wish I had known you wanted to sell it. I would love to have one of those. I had a 928 that was too intensive to maintain, but a 944 is supposed to be a dream car to have.
