No Worries JUKE179r. I am trying to fix my AC Compressor bearing and saw the 80mm making some noise. All the Pulleys are original with 90K miles on the Truck. I figured all of them are going to give up soon. I think only the 80mm is worth replacing the bearing others are reasonable. I have updated your list on another post (of course i mentioned you there).
Once i am done with I will update all with my findings.

I see you are a Bimmer fan I have a Z4 and 528i love it.

Thanks

Thanks bro.

Being cheap, I ordered the bearings for both the 70mm & 80mm pulleys off of ebay and got them today. In hindsight (and before I made that pulley parts list) I should have gone ahead and bought brand new metal pulleys all around.
I don't have a bench vice to replace the bearings so it's going to be a chore to do.

You can be cheap and smart. I do a lot of research before I do anything. One thing you want to avoid is cheap no name knockoff parts. you will end up doing it again.

I am going to redo my Valve cover Gasket today. Last time I made mistake by using snot stuff on gasket - Never touch that stuff! started to leak after few weeks.

I have a Bench Press so I should be ok. I am doing metal all the way around. I will try to take pic if i run into problems.

IM me i will send you my email if we run into issues we can help each other.

I got all the parts i needed - love the mouse click shopping.

DAYCO 89052 Idler Pulley (Small idler) lighter than original - $ 11.09 (Rock Auto)
GATES 36102 Tensioner Pulley (looks very strong better that original plastic $ 12.81 (Rock Auto)
NTN Bearing 6304LLU for the Large Idler need assembly from Amazon - $20
Continental Elite 4070923 Serpentine Belt $30 (including shipping and Tax) – I had Dayco belt piece of junk.

AC Bearing - Santech Industries MT2027 30mm x 52mm x 22mm (Cross reference with original NACHI # 30BG05S2G-2DS) got this at Autozone for $17

Since i was waiting decided to tackle the Valve cover gasket as well. I am going to get rid of those hideous bolts. Some braindead engineer decided to put those little bolts compare to the weight of the cover. they should have 3 bolts on each side and larger. I am going to replace them with 11mm head and 6 corner. see the pic. will be using a lot of Locktile they were loose when i pulled them out. also some permatex copper spray gasket on both side.

Now the real work starts but it's freaking cold out.

With the 1C and wind chill factor today it's also freakin cold here too, but, I had to go and drain down my Pajero cooling system ready to remove the engine and messing with water wasn't much fun. So, get out there Sayeed, it's gotta be done eh

By the way the new GATES 36102 Tensioner Pulley i received is 100mm instead of 90mm original. wonder if that makes a whole lot of difference?
