Noisy pulley? What else?

You could have saved a fair amount of $ by getting the 2 smaller pulleys from Carquest and replacing the bearing in the larger pulley. I can't remember exactly what I paid, but it was around $10 for the bearing and $20 for each pulley - and these are metal pulleys and not the stock plastic ones.

I was in carquest looking for the either the full 80mm pulley or just the bearings. They could not find anything for me. I ended up buying the 80mm from AB. The smaller 70mm pulley changed from plastic to metal and is only $35 at the dealer. Good price. I also found the Tensioner assembly with metal pulley by Gates at Orielly's for only $55. That is a Deal. Here is my list of links for my other post. I found the tensioner assembly will work on a 03-04, even though Gates only lists it for a 00-02. Same depth tensioner, same diameter pulley.
- Tensioner Assembly + Pulley - $55 Gates Part # :38245 Gates - Automatic Tensioner Assembly
- 70mm idler Pulley - $35 LR Dealer
- 80mm idler Pulley AB $45 PQR101150K Pulley Idler 80MM Polyvee
- Gates Serpentine Belt PN: K070922 $42 Gates - Automotive V-Ribbed Belts

There was a post in Jan: https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...pulley+bearing
I replaced the bearing for the large pulley and replaced the 2 smaller pulleys from Carquest, they looked up the part numbers and had them in the next day - no shipping cost to me.
