So if my car has set a few days and I first start it I will get that pulsating squeak/chirp that sounds to me like a pulley sound from previous cars. Its not to loud but enough to annoy me. It goes away after a minute or two. I replaced the belt and replaced the 3 idler and tensioner pulleys and the noise remains. I know first thing I need to probably do is take off the belt and check for play but have been lazy. With hood open sounds like water pump or AC area but that not positive on that. Just curious if anyone else has had similar issue or other things to check possibly

Sometimes the fan clutch can make those sounds. Try rotating it by hand a few times. Have to eliminate possibilities at this point, and you will eventually find the culprit.

 

The fact that it doesn't change with rpms is weird.

 

Well on a side note I thought my belts were chirping one time but it turned out to be that the 2 upper ujoints on my front drive line were very bad. Also mine only squeeks not when I first start but only if ac is on.
