Default Is this normal?

I recently replaced the fan clutch myself because it did not seem to turn on when I was in low range. I have a scan gauge and my temps would always run between 184 and 190 while regular driving. I never saw it go above 190 unless I was driving up a big hill or while offloading. Since I replaced it, temps have been running between 184 and 188 but I have seen it go up to 195 a few times while driving normal roads? Is this normal or did I do something wrong while replacing the fan clutch?

And one other question. How much of a benefit is installing a 180 degree thermostat. How much are they and how much is the labor cost?

Pretty much normal temps will fluctuate, but when does it go up after moving along at speed then slowing right down or randomly ?

The temperature usually goes up if I'm on a hill even if it is very slight. I never saw the temperature go above 190 until I replaced the fan clutch. Sometimes the temperature does go up randomly too.

I would say you already have a 180 thermostat

Perhaps you mean the electric fan doesn't "come on" when driving around in low range (slow speed)
The fan with the fan clutch doesn't "come on". It just has less slippage as the motor gets warmer.
Your temps look fine.

What is the difference between the fan clutch and the electric fan? Is the electric fan the ones in front of the radiator that you can see through the grill?
