The rear passenger goes over the frame rail then onto trans/tcsse.

Your photos look normal.

even with the click I'm betting your wires into the connector are faulty.

Can you confirm that the wire should continue over top of the transmission? Is there something safe I could wrap the wires in that could reduce the heat onto the wire but not melt?

When will I learn to leave well enough alone?

After using electrical contact cleaner to rinse out the dielectric grease from the connectors and letting them dry they now appear dead. Shampoo, rinse, repeat --- same results. Open loop, short-term fuel trims of 0.00, and P0130 and P0150 codes.

I did not remove the O2s, I just disconnected them and cleaned the connectors in place. I'm confident the sensors themselves are okay --- the truck's been running great with normal fuel trims.

Maybe I'll remove the sensors from the truck in hopes of doing a better job cleaning the connectors on the bench.

OK. So I have spliced in a new plug. Which got the O2 responsive again for about 4 minutes. Now it will start fine (when cold) and register .4v. Then about 3 minutes in it will drop to .3, then .1 and then 0. It will remain 0 for the rest of my drive. If I let it sit 30 minutes or so then it usually will respond the same, sometimes needs longer to cool down.

I saw cool down because that is all that I can figure out. Its a heat thing? I have brand new Magnaflow cats and Y pipe. I have tried 4 different o2 sensors. Anyone else have an idea?
