O2 sensor removal question
I am ordering 02's from AB...I took a look under my 2002 DII and removing them from beneath seems to provide thebest angle, but due the cross member in the way as well as the length of the sensor, it seems to be a job for an end wrench. Would I be correct on that assumption? The rears seem to be more accessible, but honestly not by much. I just don't see how you can get a rachet and socket to work there.
Any idea any one the size of the nut on the O2 sensor, the guy at AB did not know. I would like to remove them as well as do a tune-up so I pop them in when they arrive on Monday.
Also, I saw a post about fouled O2 sensors- considering I just had an issue with the crank sensor and the car not running properly, could they have gotton fouled? I am going to replace them regardless, but it seems highly coincidental that my crank sensor went and my O2 followed in such short order.
